Licensed Veterinary Technician
Surgery and Orthopedics Interest Preferred
We are looking for a skilled, adaptable, and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing medical team.

This position is an excellent opportunity for an LVT who enjoys surgery, anesthesia, advanced patient care, and has an interest in orthopedic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care for hospitalized and outpatient patients
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Collect and process laboratory samples
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by a veterinarian
- Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures
- Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Monitor ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, ETCO2, and other anesthetic parameters
- Calculate and administer medications and fluid therapy
- Maintain accurate anesthesia and medical records
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Maintain sterile technique within the surgical suite
- Assist with orthopedic surgical procedures and patient preparation
- Obtain diagnostic radiographs
- Assist with orthopedic positioning and imaging
- Provide postoperative monitoring and pain management
- Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs when appropriate
- Educate clients regarding medications, postoperative care, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Assist with emergency and critical patients
- Support veterinarians, assistants, and reception staff as needed

- Current Veterinary Technician license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong surgical and anesthesia skills

Experience with orthopedic surgery is preferred but not required. We are especially interested in an LVT who wants to expand their knowledge in surgery, anesthesia, and orthopedic patient care.

Veterinary Assistant
We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and adaptable Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

Our Veterinary Assistants play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and technicians while helping create a safe and positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
- Safely restrain dogs and cats for examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments
- Obtain patient histories and basic information from clients
- Prepare examination rooms for appointments
- Perform or assist with blood draws based on training and experience
- Place IV catheters based on training and experience
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples
- Run in-house diagnostic testing
- Operate IDEXX diagnostic equipment when trained
- Assist with radiographs and proper patient positioning
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for procedures
- Assist with surgical preparation and recovery
- Clean, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments
- Provide basic hospitalized patient care
- Walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized patients
- Fill medications as directed and permitted
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Restock treatment and examination areas
- Communicate patient concerns to veterinarians and technicians
- Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the hospital
- Maintain cleanliness throughout exam rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and hospital spaces
What We Are Looking For
- Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred
- Experience with blood draws or venipuncture
- Experience placing IV catheters
- Strong animal restraint skills
- Comfortable restraining dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments
- Experience with in-house laboratory testing
- Experience with IDEXX diagnostic equipment preferred
- Understanding of safe, low-stress handling techniques
- Quick learner
- Adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities
- Eager to develop additional veterinary skills

Experience with surgery, anesthesia support, radiographs, hospitalized patient care, and additional diagnostic testing is a plus.
